By answering these short questions, you will help us to understand how to support you better and how we can design our services for the next generation of UAL freelancers and business owners. Upon completion we will also enter you into a prize draw to win a voucher worth £100.

Privacy Notice

This survey is published and managed by University of the Arts London. We are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. Personal information is defined as any details that will enable you to be identified, such as ID numbers, telephone numbers, address, email address etc.

When collecting your data, it is our policy to ensure that your information provided is processed fairly and lawfully. Only authorised staff have access to personal information and they are obliged to respect its confidentiality. We do not sell, rent or exchange any personal information supplied by you to any third party. Nor will we use any of the information you provide for direct marketing or other research activities.

It is our policy to monitor our internal procedures regularly to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements in all that we do, including the Data Protection Act 1998.

What we do with the information that we gather from survey responses

All of the information that you provide will be treated as confidential and will only be used for the purposes of the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) for research purposes, all data will be anonymised from question four, only questions 1-3 will be kept for contact purposes. Your comments will not be identified as belonging to you, instead they will be combined with other responses, and analysed holistically.

Any personal information that enables you to be identified, is optional. Your participation is voluntary. You are entitled to ask that part, or all, of the record of your involvement in the survey be deleted or destroyed.
